Ms. Yo-Yo Ruan began studying classical piano and Singing at age four and holds dual ARCT and Piano Performance diplomas from The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. She also trained at the National Higher Conservatory of Music in Buenos Aires, Argentina, majoring in cello.

With over 40 years of teaching experience, Ms. Ruan has guided students of all ages in piano, voice, and orchestral performance. She has directed numerous concerts, musicals, choirs, and string ensembles internationally, and has trained piano teachers and young musicians in Canada, Taiwan, and New York.

As a performer, she has appeared in prestigious venues including Massey Hall and Koerner Hall, and has won the RCM Piano Concerto Competition. Her teaching emphasizes musical excellence, creativity, and confidence-building in every student.

Charlotte Huang is a talented musician and current Professional Music student with skills in vocals, piano, violin, and drums. She has over five years of performance experience, including weddings, Met Galas, and appearances with On That Note A Cappella, where she served as Musical Director and led her team to victory in the semi-finals. She also performs as a soloist vocalist in professional venues.

As an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher, Charlotte supports lead instructors at VioCello Music Studio by carrying out structured lesson plans and leading engaging activities to help students develop their musical skills. She is known for her wide vocal range, expressive dynamics, and ability to create a fun, encouraging, and organized learning environment. In addition to teaching, Charlotte contributes her talents in graphic design and art to support the studio’s marketing and outreach initiatives.

Jacqueline Huang is an accomplished vocalist and pianist with extensive performance and teaching experience. She is an active singer with UTC and has performed across the GTA in concerts, theatre productions, and community events. She has also accompanied students and ensembles on piano, providing a strong foundation in both performance and musicianship.

With years of private and group teaching experience, Jacqueline brings a supportive, uplifting approach to her students, integrating voice, piano, music theory, and ensemble coaching. She is passionate about helping students develop their musical skills, confidence, and love for music, while fostering creativity and personal growth.
