Fall enrollment is now open for our Fall Choir Term.
September-December
VioCello Children’s Choir is designed for children and teens ages 6–18 who love to sing, want to gain confidence, and enjoy learning music with other young singers.
Students will explore classical choir, musical theatre, pop-style singing, and jazz singing in a fun group environment.
More experienced students may also have opportunities to sing solo songs during concerts or special performances.

Meet Your Choir Director
Meet Your Choir Director
Children’s Choir is led by Ms. Yo-Yo Ruan, founder and instructor at VioCello Music School. With over 40 years of music teaching experience, Ms. Ruan has guided students of all ages in voice, choir, piano, orchestra, and ensemble performance.
Ms. Ruan holds Honours Piano Performance and ARCT diplomas from The Royal Conservatory of Music and has directed concerts, musicals, choirs, and ensembles internationally. She has also performed at respected venues including Massey Hall and Koerner Hall, and is an RCM Piano Concerto Competition winner.
Her teaching style is supportive, encouraging, and confidence-focused. She helps children feel comfortable using their voices, learn healthy singing habits, build musical skills, and grow proud of their progress in a positive group environment.

The Fall Choir Term runs from September through December, giving students time to learn music, rehearse with others, build confidence, and prepare for a December performance opportunity.
A second Spring Choir Term may run from January through June with a spring performance focus.
