Liam Bird is a performing saxophonist and experienced woodwind instructor based in the Greater Toronto Area. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance from the University of Western Ontario and has performed extensively in jazz ensembles, wind ensembles, and chamber groups.

An active performer, Liam tours with the high-energy brass ensemble My Son the Hurricane and performs with the big band BigBandemic. He has studied with renowned instructors including Dr. Bobbi Thompson, Dr. Richardson, and Dr. Watson, and has participated in masterclasses with leading musicians such as Kenneth Tse and Dr. Carrie Koffman.

As a teacher, Liam offers private woodwind instruction in flute, clarinet, and saxophone. His student-centered approach emphasizes strong fundamentals, musical growth, and building confidence, helping students of all ages develop a lifelong connection to music.
