Mr. Huang is a professional cellist specializing in solo performances, conducting, music editing, and recording engineering. Alongside Ms. Ruan, he co-founded the music studio VioCello Music Studio, where he has been teaching for 24 years. His minor instruments include violin, viola, double bass, and piano. He graduated from China's premier music institution, the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. He previously served as the principal cellist for the National Dance Orchestra, touring extensively with the orchestra, and performing over 50+ concerts in major music venues and sports arenas throughout China each year.
Mr. Huang is also the founder and leader of Beijing's first jazz ensemble, the "Alas Jazz Band," actively performing at various embassies and renowned hotels in Beijing. In 1992, Mr. Huang immigrated to Toronto, obtaining the Artist Diploma in Cello from the Royal Conservatory of Music. He then served as the principal cellist for the BC Prince George Symphony Orchestra, performed with the Toronto Etobicoke Symphony Orchestra, and played concerts with the China National Symphony Orchestra. Simultaneously, he taught music at local music schools.
In 1999, Mr. Huang relocated to Taiwan, where he taught string courses at Morrison Academy and conducted orchestras for middle and high school students. Today, in addition to running the VioCello Music Studio in Toronto, Mr. Huang continues to dedicate himself to teaching individual and group lessons, conducting youth orchestras, performing, and arranging/editing music for the studio.

Ms. Yo-Yo Ruan began studying classical piano at the age of four. In 1988, she was awarded a full scholarship to enter the National Higher Conservatory of Music in Buenos Aires, Argentina, majoring in cello performance and minoring in piano. She served as a professional cellist in the San Isidro Orchestra. In 1990, she received a generous scholarship to join The Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory in Toronto, where she consecutively earned the highest scholarship for four years. In 1994, she obtained dual diplomas in Piano Soloist and ARCT Piano Performance.
During her studies, Ms. Ruan was one of two invited students to perform with eight renowned piano professors at Toronto's prestigious Massy Hall, featuring a unique concert with ten pianos simultaneously, known as the 'Monster Concert.' In 1992, she received the RCM Piano Concerto Competition.
Ms. Ruan has been teaching and directing as the head instructor and director for the studio and orchestra. She has guided numerous concerts, including piano solos, musicals, children's and adult choirs, string ensembles, children's orchestras, teacher team solo performances, and musical theater bands.

Studied with Melvin Martin, a member and guest artist of the London Symphonia, Jacqueline Huang graduated from the Bachelor of Violin Performance at the Don Wright Faculty of Music in Western. She studied as a double major in violin and piano. Having been born into a musician family, Jacqueline has had the opportunity to acquire and develop many teaching skills at all levels, privately and in group settings. Whilst in Taiwan she was able to play in recitals for both piano and violin and in the school orchestra. When she moved to Canada, she auditioned and got into the Specialized Strings Program at Unionville High School and the Performance Program at Western University and got the opportunity to play for well-known musicians and teachers such as Erika Raum (UofT Professor), Marie Berard (concertmaster of Toronto Opera House), and Jonathan Crow (concertmaster of the Toronto Symphony).

Paul Cross is a proud graduate of the Honours Bachelor of Music Performance program at Western University, where he served as the principal trumpet of the Symphony Orchestra and received a prestigious Gold Medal for the highest academic achievement in his degree. Under the mentorship of Shawn Spicer, principal trumpet and studio professor of the London Symphony Orchestra, Paul honed his expertise in trumpet performance and pedagogy.
Growing up in Thunder Bay, Paul began his musical journey as a self-taught musician. After just three years of playing trumpet, he was appointed principal trumpet and selected to join the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo, where he became a member of Canada’s 5th Division Military Band. As the top trumpeter among Canada's top 40 cadet military band musicians, he had the honor of performing with renowned international ensembles, including:

In addition to his trumpet studies, Paul also studied piano under Marianna Chibotar-Rutkevich during his university years, performing and participating in masterclasses. He formed several brass quintets, performed in concerts, recitals, Outreach performances, Masterclasses, Special Events, and more . He has performed for distinguished artists such as Karen Donnelly, Michael Barth, Steven Woomert, Aaron Hodgson, Shawn Spicer, and more.
Currently, Paul is an active trumpeter with the London Community Orchestra, continuing to share his passion for music with the community while contributing to its vibrant musical landscape.

Charlotte Huang is a current Professional Music student with many skills in musical instruments such as vocals, piano, violin, and drums. A skilled musician with more than 5 years of experience performing at Met Galas, weddings, and other significant events in a family band. She is talented in employing a wide vocal range while singing with excellent dynamics and emotion in various styles and genres. She is proficient in organizing the workplace and maintaining a healthy learning environment. Enthusiastic and friendly that captures the attention of audiences. Charlotte is also a determined artist with a deep passion for helping students excel by supporting lead teachers at the VioCello Studio by carrying out established lesson plans. Proficient in organizing supplies and maintaining a healthy learning environment by leading fun activities to teach new skills and encourage development. Charlotte uses her skills and talents in graphic design and art to be vital within our marketing team, helping manage the outreach and services of VioCello.
